I’m a Maryland-based cinematographer, 1st AC, and camera operator skilled in using motivated practical lighting techniques with clean and vintage lenses to capture authentic scenes. I have extensive experience operating cinema cameras like the Sony Burano, FX6, FX3, The RED V-Raptor XL, The RED KOMODO 6K, The ARRI Alexa LF, The Canon C500 MK II, The Kenefinity MAVO Edge 8k, and The DJI Ronin 4D. My favorite cinema lenses are Cooke S4 Minis and NISI Athena Primes for sharp, clean images. I’ve worked on 4 independent feature films, award-winning short films, documentaries, and for commercial clients such as SONY, JBL, NIKE, & Sonus Faber. As 1st AC, I use the Tilta Nucleus-M & the Atomos Shinobi 7 for precise focus pulling. I’m a Stevenson University Film & Moving Image program graduate and I spent two years as a commercial videographer at Gramophone in Timonium, MD, shooting and editing product reviews and client home renovation tours. I now freelance as a DP, 1st AC, and Camera Operator in the DMV area.
